The California Department of Education recognized six Alliance schools with the prestigious California Distinguished School Award for their strong academic growth and performance as well as a thriving school culture. Only 28 schools in LAUSD received this highly competitive recognition and six of those were Alliance schools.

During last week’s break, Alliance Margaret M. Bloomfield High School was renewed for another five-year charter term based on their strong academic, fiscal and operational performance.
